Pana Chocolate is one of the fastest growing raw, organic chocolates in the world.
Since humble beginnings being delivered by hand on the back of Pana’s Vespa, it is now sold in over 25 countries, 3,000 outlets, Pana Chocolate shops and satellite stores globally. The company has almost doubled year-on-year since starting in July 2012. Founded in Australia by creator Pana Barbounis this unique, sustainable business does not compromise the planet or its people.
Pana grew up in a migrant family in the western suburbs of Melbourne, and after many years in hospitality at a young age, he was driven to learn and establish a business he had real passion for. After trying some raw chocolate from a friend, Pana became consumed by developing a chocolate that had the perfect taste, balanced with the right texture, regardless of being raw and vegan. There were a few non-negotiables – some of them making sure the product was made from organic ingredients with no refined sugar, and produced using minimal heat to ensure all the goodness was retained. Pana’s passion for organic produce, a vegan lifestyle, sustainability and penchant for artisanal crafts was certainly the inspiration behind Pana Chocolate’s creation.
