Almond Crunch Green Beans

  • 300gm green beans 
  • ¼ cup of slivered almonds 
  • 1 garlic clove crushed
  • 1 tsp grated lemon rind
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1 tbs of olive oil
  • Freshly ground pepper


  1. Trim ends off beans and steam for 2 mins
  2. Lightly toast almonds for 1-2 mins over medium heat and stir through garlic. Place in bowl
  3. Combine the rind, juice and olive oil to create dressing.
  4. Toss beans with dressing and top with almonds.
